PERSONAL STATEMENT
My name is Guillermo Silva Araujo. I am from Colombia. I am an administrator and I am also studying the program of Accounting Management and Financial Information. I am a responsible person, and I always try to do my work in the best way. I like learning new things and improving my skills every day. I believe that education is very important because it helps people achieve their goals and have better opportunities in life.
At this moment, I work as a public servant at DIAN. In my job, I support different activities related to tax and customs processes. My work requires responsibility, organization, and attention to detail. Every day, I work with information, documents, and different procedures. I also communicate with coworkers and support the objectives of my team. This experience has helped me become more disciplined and professional.
Before working at DIAN, I had experience in the sales area. I worked as a sales analyst, where I learned how to manage information, prepare reports, and support commercial activities. This job helped me improve my communication skills and my ability to work under pressure. It also taught me the importance of teamwork and good planning.
One of my main strengths is time management. I work and study at the same time, so I need to organize my activities carefully. This skill helps me meet deadlines and complete my responsibilities. Another strength is teamwork. In my jobs and studies, I have learned that good results come from cooperation and respect among team members.
I have also developed computer skills. I can use different digital tools for office work, reports, and information management. Technology is very important today, and I believe these skills help me perform better in my professional activities. In addition, I am organized and detail-oriented, which are important qualities in accounting and financial work.
My character can be described with simple words such as responsible, honest, respectful, patient, and hardworking. I always try to maintain a positive attitude and learn from every experience. When I face challenges, I look for solutions and continue working toward my goals. I understand that success requires effort, dedication, and continuous learning.
My future goals are to complete my studies successfully and continue growing professionally. I want to improve my knowledge in accounting and financial management. I also want to contribute positively to my workplace and support the development of my organization. In the future, I would like to have more responsibilities and participate in important projects related to finance and administration.
